Documentaries about photography we've watched lately
Gregory Crewsdon: Brief encounters
Acclaimed photographer Gregory Crewdson’s 10-year quest to create a series of haunting, surreal, and stunningly elaborate portraits of small-town American life — filmed with unprecedented access as he makes perfect renderings of a disturbing, imperfect world.

New photography portfolio site
I'm in two minds as to whether renew my photography portfolio site hosted on photium. Am not really sure it's worth the $100 odd p.a. but then I took a long time tweaking it to get it how I wanted it.
Looking at other options, I made a quick and dirty portfolio on carbonmade. The free version restricts you to five projects and 35 photos but I like the simple look of it and the limited uploading helped to focus image selection.

Wrestling documentary
Video on British wrestler Karl Krammer on the Gruaniad. Part II tomorrow.
At the other end of the sport is the 1998 full length doc 'Wrestling with shadows' on WWF wrestler Hitman Harris which is streamed on the NFB website.
Also good is the Louis Theroux weird weekend episode.

Cycling documentary
Bicycle Dreams tells the story of the endurance race across America.
Here's an interview with several times winner of the race, Jure Robic, who died last week when he was hit by a car.
